Drop-in Meditation Class in Park Slope:
Delve into a variety of topics related to meditation practice with insights from Buddhist, Jewish, and mindfulness teachings. Each 1-hour class will include a talk, guided meditation, and Q & A.
Class is held at 274 Garfield Place, Brooklyn.
Cost: $10-20 suggested donation.

The S.I.T. Mindfulness course offers an in-depth progression through the essential areas for Mindful attention and investigation. Participants will be able to gain a better understanding of the ways that Mindfulness practice can benefit them. The class will allow time to thoroughly investigate and experiment with a variety of techniques that will offer the group a personal experience and understanding of how to apply these practices to their daily lives.
Each module includes teaching, experiential exercises, group discussion, and suggested home practices and lasts 1-1 ½ hours.
Please note: S.I.T. is also available as a series of private sessions for individuals/families and for the staff/members of organizations.
